Services We Offer

In-Person Tutoring Sessions

-Drop by the LASSO Center or submit an appointment request.

Zoom Tutoring Sessions

-Same as an in-person session, but the session is done over Zoom.
-Submit an appointment request, and we will send you a Zoom link.

Email 

-Submit an email request along with your writing assignment, and we will send an email to you with overall improvements and some things to watch out for.

Policies

-Walk-in help is available at the LASSO Center. We cannot take walk-ins via Zoom; you must submit an appointment request.

-For walk-ins and Zoom sessions, please bring a draft of your writing or a way for the tutor to access it.

-For email, please attach a copy of your writing to the appointment request before submitting.

-If you cannot make your session, please notify the tutor as soon as possible.

-If the student does not show up after 30 minutes, the tutor will assume the session has been canceled.

-For Email requests, please allow 2-3 business days for the tutor to provide feedback. This gives the tutor the chance to read the writing several times and look thorugh carefully.

-For text, please allow 2 business days for the tutor to respond. Normally it will be within 24 hours with the exception of weekends.
