Hoopla is here!
The platform is simple, intuitive, and free to our faculty, staff and students.
There are no holds or waiting for titles; all content on the platform is available instantly, 24/7, with a multi-genre collection of 700,000+ titles and growing!
Hoopla is constantly adding new content from a diverse group of big names in publishing and entertainment, such as PBS, The Great Courses, DC, Marvel, Acorn, A&E, and more.
Our patrons can take hoopla to the big screen using Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, or Android TV, as well as enjoy music and audiobooks with hoopla on Amazon Alexa.
To register, please visit the Apple or Google Play store and download the hoopla digital app, or visit the Hoopla website and select our library from the list.
- Sign up by creating an account using an email and password of your choice.
- Next, search for “OSU Institute of Technology” to choose as your library.
- Enter your Okey short name for the Card Number and current O-Key password for the Pin Number, and click “Next”.
- *When you reset your O-Key password, make sure you change it in the hoopla settings as well.

Cost for 3D Printing
The cost for 3D Printing is currently free to all OSUIT employees and students until further notice.
Creating a 3D Print
The Library will print your 3D Print; however, the patron is responsible for creating the file.
To find and create a file, follow these steps:
- Find a website, such as Thingiverse and search
- Once you choose your 3D print, download the files.
- Fill out the 3D Print Request Form (see below)
- The librarian will print your model.
- The librarian will notify you when it's ready and can be picked up.
